Advanced functionality in a small package. The SN-2 is able to detect extended frequencies and so can tune most instruments. It can be switched between vibration and microphone pickup and has a built-in visual tap-tempo metronome. The interface is highly user-friendly, with a bright backlit color screen with a 'dial' style tuner that centers once you're tuned in for easy confirmation. It dims after 5 seconds of no sound and automatically powers off after 2 minutes of no signal to conserve the battery. Pitch reference can be set anywhere between 415Hz and 466Hz, it defaults to 440Hz. It has a flat tuning feature for guitarists using a capo.
